Tenure: The initial appointment shall be for a period of one year which can be extended to a maximum period of 3 years (1 year + 1 year + 1 year) subject to performance of the professional in the Division concerned being highly useful. The appointment of Consultant is of a temporary nature and the appointment can be cancelled at any time by the Department without assigning any reason.
